Sewing machine bobbin from the machine my mother taught me to sew on. 

SPATIAL EXPERIENCE

Creating three spaces that would explore the journey of being taught to sew by my mother - the emotions felt, both positive + negative

Space 1 | Fear of this new thing - machine motor roaring, needle punching up + down

Space 2 | The bond created with my mother in the teaching experience

Space 3 | Joy in mastering a new skill + challenging what had initially scared me
